Summary
I am a professional coach, consultant, trainer, and facilitator focused on leadership, team and organization development (OD). I am also a certified mediator and trainer in conflict resolution. I am the Founder and Chief Coach of Agile OD, where I lead a tribe of expert OD practitioners to help organizations of all sizes succeed in change, transformation, and innovation.
Based in Singapore, I deliver work worldwide with teammates across APAC, Europe, and the Americas. Much of my work is with multinational corporations, and I equally enjoy partnering with government agencies, regional firms, family businesses, mission-driven organizations, and — close to my heart — startups and SMEs.
I have a third-culture upbringing and am a native English and Japanese speaker. This background helps me deliver high-context, cross-cultural work across geographies. I also teach executives at my alma mater INSEAD, keeping me close to the latest developments in management science.
As a serial startup entrepreneur and former banker, I bring 30 years of front-line business experience, and everything I coach is grounded in real practice. I understand the organizational code, the middle manager’s blues, and the entrepreneur’s loneliness — perspectives that help me be an empathetic partner to the leaders I support.
How I Help
At Agile OD
I bring a full-stack OD skill set — integrating coaching, consulting, training, and facilitation — to deliver a cohesive service to the organization as a whole. Broadly, the work falls into two streams: helping leaders and teams align strategically on goals and approaches, and building the individual and collective capabilities to achieve them. For the first, I wear the consultant and facilitator hats; for the second, the coach and trainer hats. I am also a heavy user of Agile (Scrum), Design Thinking, and Lean practices to keep the work iterative, evidence-based, and practical.
As an Independent Coach
I offer the full range of coaching formats for individuals, groups, and teams. I coach to ICF standards (PCC, ACTC) with clear agreements, trust, and confidentiality. Coaching is a distinct learning modality that unlocks insight through thought-provoking conversations, building self-awareness, creativity, and purposeful action. Its dialogical, less structured nature makes coaching my favorite approach in learning and development.
At INSEAD
I support the delivery of executive education programmes at the international business school INSEAD. From theory to application, I collaborate with professors and programme directors to translate academic concepts into real-world, actionable learning. I am typically invited to programmes focused on developing learning capabilities for innovation, drawing on my expertise in Agile, Design Thinking, behavioral change, leadership development, and OD.
