Coaching and Coaching +

Coaching is a space of partnership and possibility. When we work together, you can expect a relationship built on trust, clarity, and deep respect for your potential. Many of our Agile OD coaches are ICF (International Coaching Federation) certified bound by its Code of Ethics and Core Competencies, and we practice coaching as a disciplined craft — a partnership grounded in thought-provoking conversations that unlock self-awareness, creativity, and purposeful action. You are the expert in your life and work; our role is to walk alongside you, ask better questions, and hold space for your answers to emerge. This isn’t about giving advice or fixing problems — it’s about discovering the resourcefulness that’s already within you.

At the same time, we all learn differently, and we stay open to what’s needed. Coaching exists on a continuum with other forms of learning and development — mentoring, training, facilitation, advising, teaching. Sometimes, when you’re stuck or curious about what else is possible, you might find inspiration in a fresh perspective or a reframing of the situation. After all, one of the biggest challenges in learning is the “unknown unknowns” — we don’t know what we don’t know. When needed — and only when you ask — we can draw from other learning modalities to support you in a way that fits your context.

Full Range of Coaching Formats

We offer the full range of coaching formats — each crafted with flexibility, structure, and clear purpose — to support individuals, teams, and organizations.

Whether you’re growing as a leader or navigating complexity at work, one-on-one coaching provides a personalized space for deep reflection and purposeful action.

Each Agile OD coach has a distinct style and approach. As an example, learn how I, Coach Takeshi, approach individual coaching for:

  • Leaders and Executives
  • Change, Transformation, Innovation Professionals
  • Agile Practitioners and Design Thinkers
  • Startup Entrepreneurs

From startup co-founders to “team of teams” in large organizations, we support high-performance team development at every scale. Team coaching sits at the core of the team development spectrum — bridging team building, training, facilitation, mentoring, and consulting. Learn how we approach team coaching as a systemic, adaptive practice across the dynamics of individuals and the team as a whole.

A variation of team coaching, this format focuses on teams engaged in structured processes such as Agile, Design Thinking, Design Sprints, and Lean practices — including Kanban, Kaizen and Kata. In this context, coaching naturally overlaps with training, facilitation, and consulting to support both mindset and method. Learn more about how we support process-based team development, or jump straight to our Agile coaching and Design Thinking practices.

Group coaching creates a supportive environment where individuals work on their own goals while learning from others with similar intentions. In organizational settings, it becomes a powerful way to develop talent, foster peer learning, and build cross-functional insight and alignment — often in combination with group training initiatives. Learn how we make group coaching a unique experience that blends individual focus with the power of group learning — transforming shared space into personal growth.

When coaching is sponsored by an organization, we ensure psychological safety and confidentiality for the coachee through clear tri-party agreements between coach, coachee, and sponsor — maintaining trust while keeping the process aligned and professional. We also address the sponsor’s interest in return on investment by measuring coaching impact and learning outcomes using industry best practices. Learn how we oversee sponsored coaching with clear structure and transparency.
